Aapo Cederberg is CEO and Co-founder of Cyberwatch Finland. He is also is Executive Adviser to the Finnish Information Security Cluster (FISC) and Associate Fellow of the Global Fellowship Initiative at the Geneva Centre of Security Policy (GCSP). Cederberg has served as a Secretary General for the Security Committee of Finland for six years. The Security Committee provides support, advice and expertise for the government in comprehensive security matters and serves as a collaborative platform for the on-going national efforts related to the national crisis preparedness. The security committee also works on various initiatives and issues statements and guidelines, such as Security Strategy for the Society and Cyber Security Strategy. Colonel Cederberg’s earlier assignments include working as the head of Strategic Planning and foresight at the Ministry of Defence (2005 – 2007). During his time a first public long term strategy for the MoD was created (Securely into the Future- Ministry of Defence Strategy 2025). Before this he has a long career in the service of Finnish Armed Forces, where his latest assignments include holding the Commander position at the Häme GBAD Battalion (2003 – 05) and serving as a Senior Military Adviser at the Permanent Mission of Finland to the OSCE (1999- 2003).
Mr. Juha Remes is currently responsible for FISC operations it’s industry’s owned Cyberlab inc. FISC is involved in several cyber and information security related projects in Finland and internationally. Juha Remes has been one of the front runners of security sector in Finland. He holds several board positions in private companies. Juha Remes was CEO of Ubisecure (2008-2013) up to January before taking over FISC position. Ubisecure is the market leader of authentication and external identity management product in Finland. He was Vice President of Professional Services, Valimo Wireless (2001-2008), one of the first security related companies in Finland building and delivering its’ services and solutions widely to financial sector, telecom industry, media and widely to public sector in Nordic and in Europe. Juha Remes has wide international business experience more than 80 countries in the world (ABB 1993-2000, Ekono Group 1989-1993). Juha Remes has carried several position of trust in IT and cyber security sector in last two decades. He has established books and publications, and he is well-known speaker.
Jukka Viitasaari is a performance- and innovation driven business executive, serial-entrepreneur, networker and business angel, with an ability to develop and communicate strategies and create innovative organizations. As the Editor in Chief of Digitoday Media (2000-2004) he created the Finland´s first cyber security news media and blog concept and run Mobile Monday networking platform at its early stage. After that he worked as the Managing Editor of Taloussanomat Magazine (2005-2008) responsible for the digital publishing. As the Director of ICT, growth and digitalization at the Federation of Finnish Technology Industries (2008-2015) he played the key role when building the new initiatives like Finnish Information Security Cluster (FISC.fi), Finnish Location Information Cluster (FLIC.fi), Finnish Industrial Internet Forum (FIIF.fi), Kasvufoorumi (Kasvufoorumi.fi), Kasvuryhmä (Kasvuryhma.fi) and Startup Foundation (Startup-saatio.fi) all of which have also diverse cyber security dimensions. Viitasaari holds several board positions in growth companies and he is also Executive Adviser to the Finnish Information Security Cluster (FISC). Currently he is a partner of Cyberwatch Finland, CEO and partner of Internet TV-company Coup4 and owner and chairman of NetToday.
Pertti Jalasvirta is Co-Founder and Member of the Board
Pertti’s 30-plus years of work history is proof of his solid background of professional expertise in government affairs, resource management, administrative management, planning of organizational development in military medicine, education and hospital relations, as well as CBRN protection and training of security, cyber skills within education industry, the healthcare and medical industry. Pertti has extensive experience at the executive group level and board level in multiple companies both in Finland and transnationally. Pertti is also a decorated Medical Service Corps Reserve Warrant Officer, and have been responsible for the development, training and testing of new medical equipment and emerging technologies for the Finnish Defence Forces during 1983 to 2010. Additionally, he has played a major role in the development of techniques, procedures and logistical integration of procured medical equipment for the Finnish Defence Forces. Pertti is also owner and CEO of Jalasvirta Group, partner of Claned Group, Grapho Group and Cyberwatch Oy. Today, Pertti focus primarily on using his wide professional experience to provide consulting services for the Military, Education, Cyber, Healthcare and Government business segments.
